We had such a great Easter.
Jeff woke up early and headed to the 6:30 AM sunrise service. Really early. A little too early for Hayden and I. Then, he came home and cooked us breakfast before we all headed to church.
Hayden got all dressed up and his hair slicked down for Easter. ;-)
He made his first project at Church yesterday too. I LOVE it!
Then, it was to lunch at the Smiths. Yummy as always!
It is a shame that Hayden never gets any special attention there. Ha! He is so rotten! He kind of likes getting tickled by the tickle bug too!
Brooklyn and Hayden love each other so much!
The three youngest grandbabies.
They were thrilled to get their pictures made! Ha!
He is getting so big! He will be THREE in ONE WEEK. Uhg. No possible.
Our little family of three.
Egg Huntin’ time! Hayden has this down now! Third time this year!
Love this picture!
A little egg coloring…
LuLu modeling her Kentucky Derby hat. She really is getting to go! So fun!
Matt, Sherry, Cole, and Brooklyn
Gotta have a quick game of basketball before time to leave!
After lunch at the Smith’s, we headed to my Aunt Barbara and Gary’s house.
These three cousins had the best time playing together. It makes me smile seeing them play together. I have the best memories growing up playing with all my cousins.
Then, they found the oatmeal cookies. I think Aunt Mary Helen brought them. Ya’ll, everyone on the Spencer side of the family knows what you mean when you say “Granny’s oatmeal cookies”. Sinfully delicious. Melt in your mouth. I don’t have words to describe how good these are. I don’t have the recipe either. Must. Get. It. Soon! Aunt Mary Helen? Aunt Barbara? Pam? Anyone want to email it to me?
I hope everyone had a BLESSED Easter!
