Yesterday, Dad, Mom, Hayden, and I got Robin all moved in to her new home. She is living in the brand new freshman dorms at A&M Commerce. She was so excited for this day to come!
Hayden was real unsure of all the noise, commotion, new people, and most of all the lion mascot costume. He was holding on!
We were there pretty much all day! And, Robin and I had already moved stuff in on Saturday for an hour. Just takes time to get all settled!
Hayden was a big help of course! He really did quite well for all that was going on. He played with all his trucks and tractors, played on the bed, played with Nanny and Granddaddy, and unscrewed all the door stops. Ha!
In the dorm, her and her roommate have their own room, a living room area, a large vanity area and a bathroom. It is really nice. Brand new is always a plus!

She had “Lion Camp” today, tomorrow and Saturday. Sunday is a day to rest.
And…Monday…reality begins!

Wow! Dorm rooms have really come loooong way since my days at Baylor! My freshman year I stayed in a dorm that was....I don't know how big....but it was SMALL! 2 twin beds...one on each side with a desk at the foot of the bed. With a small closet for each. The bathrooms and showers were DOWN the HALL! Gotta love community living!! Haha. Looking back it's hard to remember living like that! ;)
I love it! And wow, Commerce has new dorms?! We might have lived on campus if it had been that nice!
