Rains County Fair Parade

Let me tell you, there isn’t much more fun you can have on a Saturday morning than going to the Emory square for the Rains County Fair parade!  This was Hayden’s first parade experience.  He seemed to enjoy it.  He kept pointing at all the balloons and just sat back and took it all in.  Even Granddaddy Red went with us!

The parade includes the country fair pageant winners, horses, fire trucks, the high school band, 4 wheeler riders, and anyone else that wants to be included.  :-)

The highlight of it all is when the participants throw out candy!

It was a little toasty, but we enjoyed the 15 minutes of entertainment!  They also have  a car show around the square, but we decided it was a little warm for that!
