Fun with Friends-Day 3

Another fun day in SC!  This morning, while the babies took their naps, Jen and I went to a local outdoor flea market and pretended we were at Canton instead.  We walked the whole thing in 40 minutes.  I spent $2 and Jen spent $4.  I’m afraid we wouldn’t get out quite as cheap if we really got to go to Canton.

After morning naps and lunch, we headed to the Zoo.  While we were doing last minute things to get ready to leave, Hayden was at the door saying “C’mon, C’mon, C’mon”.

We knew it might be crowded, but it was REALLY crowded.  We made the best of it and made it through about 1/2 of the zoo.  Jen has some free passes so we might go back Monday so we can do the other half.  This was Hayden’s first trip to the zoo.  I think he really loved seeing all the big animals.  And his ICEE too!

When we went over to the Elephants they were quite close.  And…quite stinky!  So much so that when we got close to them Hayden started gagging and kept gagging until I got him away from them.  Bless his heart, I guess the smell was just too much for him!

The kangaroos were really cool.  You could actually walk through their habitat.  Most of them were sleeping.

Hayden, where’s your belly button?

After the zoo, the boys came home and took another nap.  Jeff Gray made homemade pizza tonight that was DELICIOUS!  He made pioneer woman’s tomato basil pizza, pioneer woman’s caramelized onion and prosciutto pizza, cheese pizza for the boys and Landree made her own pepperoni pizza.  So good!

The boys wore their new pajamas tonight.  Are they not so cute?  Look…Hudson is making his monster face!  HA!

Landree wore her cute new PJ’s too!

After the babies went to bed, Jen and I did a little decorating.  We also made a last minute 9:00 PM trip to TJ Maxx too.  Thank goodness Jeff Gray doesn’t mind us running around and leaving him to watch after the sleeping babies.  He probably enjoys the quiet time.  :-)

Our treat for tonight was a Carmel Pecan Pie shake from Zaxby’s.  We couldn’t decide if we wanted to try it or not.  So, we ended deciding we would split one.  But, the ladies in Zaxby’s surprised us and made us both one and said one was on them.  Wasn’t that sweet?  Let me tell you, it was SO GOOD!  So. Not. On. The. Diet.

Tomorrow is Church and probably a lazy day at home!

Hope you are having a good weekend!
