Hayden is FOUR!!

DSC_0180

Happy Birthday to our silly, cowboy boot wearing, Nutella eating, bike and 4wheeler riding, trains, trucks, and tractor playing, puddle jumping, flashlight using, deer lease going, family and friend loving, no clothes wearing, 4 YEAR OLD!

We love you so much Hayden Luke!

**No clothes wearing**  Hayden wants to strip down as soon as we get home from being somewhere.  Doesn’t matter if it is 30 degrees outside.  He likes to be in his underwear only!  Such a mess!

Happy 4th Birthday Hayden!

DSC_0193

Hayden chose to have a “hunting” birthday party.  So, that is exactly what we had!  Thank you to all our friends and family who came and made this day extra special for him!

What’s a hunting birthday party without something to hunt?

DSC_0195

And a hunting blind and a four wheeler close by of course!

Time to do a little shooting.

Hudson said he was dead.  He had been shot a little too much!

Soccer quickly turned into tackle for Cohen and Hayden.  Boys!

Hudson, Blade, Blaze, and Hayden were checking out a snapping turtle that Randa and Cannon brought to Hayden!  It quickly made its way to the pasture.

After the party, we had the best time going through all Hayden’s new toys and playing till dark.  We even got in a few “games” of t-ball with Hayden’s new gear and some huge bubble blowing!

Pretend playing with a boy.

Playing and hanging out with his Daddy is truly one of Hayden’s favorite things to do.  Daddy is much more fun than Mommy.  I have to be honest, playing with GI Joes, trains, and cars is not really my thing.  I mean, I can handle it for about 5 minutes, but after I have zoomed around a few times,  I am lost.  And, what do I do with GI Joes?  What are they supposed to say (or do-Ha!) to each other?  I am terrible, I tell ya!

Daddy does fun things like hang out in the travel trailer that is in our yard and play with toys, pop popcorn, and watch movies.  It’s one of Hayden’s favorite things to do!

Look at this GI Joe stash Jeff found at his parents house a while back.  We put it up until we thought Hayden was big enough to play with them and not eat the 453 tiny pieces.  He loves it!  Talk about some old classic stuff!

He’s cute huh?

See, I told you Daddy was fun!  DSC_0975 DSC_1053

What about pretending to go hunting?  Oh yeah!  I can do this one!

Christmas time at Preschool!

Christmas time at preschool was so much fun!  I love that we get to focus on the true meaning of CHRISTmas and get to have a lot of fun too!

Ms. Lori was brave and let them make a Christmas tree out of a waffle cone.  They loved it…both making it and having it as a special treat!

We made special gifts for each preschool parent!  I LOVE how they turned out and will treasure it always!  Michele helped us make them.

I have never directed a “play” before this year’s Christmas program, but I thought the kids did so good!  They had to learn a lot of songs and some of them had to learn a lot of lines.  Two, three, and four year olds.  However, Hayden {a wise man} wasn’t thrilled about being in the play.  Most days he would cry or pout during practice.  Needless to say, it’s just  not his thing. Thank goodness for Ms. Lori!

Can you see that pouty lip?

Most of the time he looked like this…

But occasionally, he looked like this…

I am sad I didn’t get more pictures, but I was the director/narrator therefore I missed out on taking pictures.

On the last day of preschool before Christmas, we had our Christmas celebration.  We did a rotation party with our four classes.  Crafts, Story with Santa, Games, and then we had a birthday party for Jesus!  It was a lot of fun.

Where is Hayden?  Are you surprised?

Pin the nose of Rudolf, pin the buttons on Frosty, and a little bowling!
