Garden Update

I thought it was time for an update on our garden.  It is looking better and like we might actually get some fresh produce soon!

Honestly, I am hoping for the best and expecting the worst.  We have so many of these yucky creatures…

I have never seen so many different species of crickets and grasshoppers!  They are everywhere already and it is only the beginning of June!  Not to mention all the other types of bugs and spiders we have.  So, we will see how our plants and flowers hold up!

PS…our corn is really sad looking so I didn’t include it in the pictures.

On a side note…do you like watermelon?  Well, we have been getting the big seedless watermelons at Wal-Mart for $3.50-$4.50 and they are SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
